About Us

Meghan Kermeen, DVM, is the founder of our mobile veterinary practice. She graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Dr. Kermeen is passionate about providing care that keeps pets calm, safe, and comfortable in their own environment. She also values building strong relationships with clients and places a strong emphasis on education, so pet owners feel confident and supported in every stage of their pet’s care.

Dr. Kermeen works closely with her husband, Adam, who is involved during appointments and also helps manage the business side of the practice. Together, they share both life and work, and have built a family-centered business rooted in care, trust, and connection.

The inspiration for starting a mobile practice came from a deep appreciation for Fear Free–informed veterinary care and the belief that pets experience medicine best when stress is minimized. Over time, it became clear that many pets (and their people) are more relaxed and receptive in their own homes, where familiar surroundings create a calmer, more natural environment.

Mobile care also allows for something that can be harder to achieve in a traditional clinic setting: time. Time to slow down, to listen, to observe pets in their everyday environment, and to build stronger relationships with both pets and their families.

Our approach is centered on low-stress handling, thoughtful communication, and comprehensive, high-quality veterinary care. We are committed to practicing medicine that is both thorough and individualized—taking into account the whole patient, not just the immediate concern. This includes careful physical exams, appropriate diagnostics when needed, and clear guidance so clients feel confident in their pet’s care plan.

We place a strong emphasis on client education and collaboration, ensuring that medical decisions are made together with a full understanding of options, benefits, and limitations. Our goal is to provide the same level of medical integrity you would expect in a traditional clinic, combined with the comfort and convenience of in-home care.

Outside of veterinary medicine, family and faith is at the heart of our lives. Together, we have two children, a Golden Retriever named Nico, and two cats, Grace and Beebs. That experience—living in a busy household with animals of our own—deepens our understanding of the human-animal bond we see every day in our clients’ homes.
